Remote development of new-energy commercial vehicle Si/SiC-based second-generation modules successfully completed, leading the industry in full-stack in-house R&D
Recently, Farizon successfully developed the H1C, its second-generation Si/SiC-based module for new energy commercial vehicles. This innovative automotive power module was jointly created by Farizon Zhixin Technology under Farizon Group and Jingneng Microelectronics under Geely Technology Group. The module is a compatible solution developed by deeply integrating the requirements of new energy commercial vehicles, adapting to the higher-intensity and more complex working conditions of commercial vehicle applications.Compared with the previous-generation inverter product, the overall weight is reduced by approximately 5%, greatly improving space utilization while delivering significant cost advantages. The successful development of this module marks an important achievement in Farizon’s full-stack self-research for new energy commercial vehicles. It is scheduled to be installed and tested in September this year, and will be mass-produced and equipped on new Farizon models in early 2025.

The second-generation module — H1C, jointly developed by Farizon Zhixin and Jingneng Microelectronics
In the era of new energy vehicles, power devices have become increasingly critical, with both domestic and international brands strengthening their presence in this field.New energy commercial vehicles impose stricter requirements on power devices due to high operating intensity, complex working conditions, and extreme demands for efficiency and cost. The newly developed H1C module is highly user-friendly and innovative. It inherits the packaging concept of Jingneng’s H1, offering greater scalability in the same form factor, compatible with both Si and SiC chip packaging, and available in various rated current and voltage classes. Its key features include:Integration of next-generation current sensors, achieving ultra-low system-level stray inductanceMore compact integration and significantly reduced overall costAdvanced technologies including new interconnection (die sintering), new materials (high-temperature-resistant plastic housing), and new processes (ultrasonic welded pins) to support higher temperature ratings, delivering superior performance and longer service life.In the future, the H1C will be equipped with a 1200V self-developed chip co-created by both parties, achieving full independence in core technologies.
