Embedded SiC has arrived; Jingneng participates in two projects included in Zhejiang Province’s “Sharp Edge” R&D Initiative.

Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province announced the 2025 "Pioneer, Leader + X" Science and Technology Program project list.Two projects participated by Jingneng have been successfully selected:Embedded Multi-Chip SiC Power Module Integrated Packaging Technology andR&D of High-Power-Density Power Electronics Domain Controllers for New Energy Vehicles.

The two approved Pioneer Projects that Jingneng participated in include:

The project “Embedded Multi-Chip SiC Power Module Integrated Packaging Technology” is led by Zhejiang University, jointly conducted by a number of enterprises and universities including VeriV, Silergy, Jingneng, and Hangzhou Dianzi University.The project focuses on overcoming the design and process development of embedded packaging power modules, establishing accurate thermoelectric performance characterization methods and reliability simulation analysis platforms, and solving technical challenges such as material selection and thermal stress balance.

The other project, “R&D of High-Power-Density Power Electronics Domain Controllers for New Energy Vehicles”, is initiated by Geely Auto Research Institute, with joint participation from Jingneng, Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Megmeet, and other enterprises and universities.

The project focuses on the unified software architecture platform for core components and domain controllers of electric vehicles, and conducts in-depth research on technologies including soft-switching control of power devices, electromagnetic interference suppression, and thermal concentration control.

The "Pioneer and Leader" R&D Program focuses on cutting-edge global technologies, targeting key technical challenges in the main economic battlefield, major national needs, and people’s health.
